We have a shorter update this month, as many projects are on hold until the Spring thaw...
The board discussed the status of the snow removal service after the largest snowfall (so far) on the morning of Monday, February 2. While the driveway areas were cleared later than typically expected, the sidewalks remained a priority and were addressed promptly. The board will continue to monitor the service as the snow continues to fall.
In addition to the snow, the formation of large icicles is apparent throughout the community. Personnel from Select Community Management have address several dangerous areas for falling icicles, but if you see an area that still needs icicle removal, do not hesitate to contact Select for assistance.
The board has been in discussions with Select Community Management on ways to improve the placement of the bins. We hope to find a solution that will lessen the impact on the community sidewalks, driveways and parking areas, while still accommodating the collection trucks. On Monday, February 9, representatives from Select and Recycle Ann Arbor met and went over several options, but further evaluation will be needed. The board hopes a compromise can be found and announced by the annual meeting.
Speaking of which...
The annual meeting has tentatively been scheduled for April 14, 2015. Once the venue has been confirmed, official announcement letters will be sent to each co-owner.

The next board meeting and monthly update will be in mid-March.
