Concrete Replacement
The replacement of the Birch Hollow driveway has started, and the first sections of concrete have been poured. Once the driveway at Birch Hollow is completed, the contractor will move over to Forest Creek and pour the new sidewalks there.
Brick Repairs
Brick repairs continue, with the contractor working their way through the list of areas needing attention.
Document Revisions
We need the votes on the updated association by-laws to be returned to us! Reminder notices will be going out to those who have not yet returned their ballot. An electronic version of the proposed by-laws is available in the Documents section of the site.
Community Reminders
The board would like to remind all co-owners that they should contact the Ann Arbor Police Department at their non-emergency number (734.994.2911) if they see suspicious or disorderly persons on the community grounds.
Also, we would like to remind co-owners to follow the City of Ann Arbor guidelines when putting out and retrieving their trash and recycling bins. According to the city, bins shall not placed at the curb more than 24 hours ahead of pickup time, and must be removed from the curb within 12 hours of service.
In addition, there has been a recent report that a resident's bin has gone missing. If you accidentally retrieved a bin that was not yours, we ask that you kindly return it to the curb where you found it. If you have lost a bin, you should contact the city to request a replacement: https://www.a2gov.org/departments/trash-recycling/Pages/Trash.aspx. It is important to mark your bins so that they can be identified as yours to prevent someone else from mistakenly taking it. Using white paint to write your unit number is an example of a good way to mark and identify your bins.
The next board meeting is set for Tuesday, November 7 at 6:00pm in the offices of Select Management.
