The two new light poles at the community entrance have been installed, and have greatly improved the nighttime lighting in the area.
The board completed the Fall walk-thru of the Forest Creek grounds on October 28. The main focus was on building exteriors; including wood, brick, paint, shutters, and gutters. The board was pleased with the overall condition of the property, but also found some distinct areas that need immediate attention. In addition to a handful of holes found in wood, there were areas of brick that will need repair, and window shutters that will need to either be secured or replaced. The board is working with Select Community Management to ensure the repairs are scheduled with contractors as soon as possible.
If any co-owner knows of an area that is in need of repair, they should always feel free to send a report to the board. If possible, it is recommended that a picture of the area be included in the message.
As noted in last month's update, the board approved the budget for 2015, including a 2% increase in monthly association dues. Coupon booklets for the 2015 payments will be sent out this week. Co-owners may contact the board with questions about the budget.
