Notices for the annual meeting that was originally scheduled for tonight never arrived. They were handed-off to USPS back in April, when the original delay was noted. This was in plenty of time for them to arrive in our mailboxes. Obviously, that final part never happened.
We have been in discussion with USPS about them, but they are unable to locate them and their status remains unknown.
New notices are being printed, and we will be making another run at getting new notices to everyone. Select Management, being local, will be hand-delivering these new notices to those of us living at Forest Creek so that we can ensure prompt delivery. For those not living on-site, USPS remains the only option. Hopefully, this batch will get through.
The board has set our annual meeting for June 10, at 6pm via Zoom using meeting id: 821 5341 0260. Physical notices will be sent out shortly. Besides the usual elements of the annual meeting, we will also be discussing and hearing comments on the updates to the by-laws, which will also be included in the notice to everybody. Please do note that the annual meeting is not the vote on the by-laws, but is intended to be a forum for discussions and questions about them. If you cannot be present at the annual meeting, please send any concerns or questions about them to the board via forestcreekboard@googlegroups.com prior to the meeting. They will be presented at the meeting by the board (as well as answered to you directly in e-mail response).
