Brick repairs have been progressing over the last few months. Again, special attention and priority is being given to buildings where interior leaks have been found. Two areas have been completed, with five more to be addressed over the next few months.
A few areas of broken vinyl siding that were noted during the Spring walk-thru have been replaced. Co-owners are encouraged to contact Select Community Management to report any new areas of siding that appear to be in need of repair.
The board has been working with Select and Yard Pro to address several landscaping needs across the community. Many damaged bushes are planned to be removed or replaced, and some dead trees in Birch Hollow are also planned to be taken down. In addition, the board is scheduling a meeting with a landscape design company to discuss improvements that could be made to the community grounds, including the possible addition of rain gardens in certain locations.
As noted in the May 2016 Update, the board has been working with the community lawyers to review and update the association By-laws. We are in the final stages of the review process, and are working to have a finalized draft by the next board meeting.
The goal is to revise certain sections to bring the document up-to-date, such as removing language about the original community developer. No changes to the actual By-laws are being made. Once the final draft of the document has been approved by the board, we will announce the process for approval by Forest Creek community co-owners.
