The seal-coating and re-striping project for the driveway and guest parking area has been scheduled for Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14. At 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, work on the North side (exit side) will be started. At 8:00 a.m. on Friday, the South side (entrance/mailbox side) work will commence. Parking on each side may be unavailable for 24 hours after the work begins.
While the work is being done, residents of the affected sides will need to make alternate arrangements for parking. Not only will the guest parking on the affected sides be unavailable, but residents who park in or in-front of their garages will need to park elsewhere the night before the work begins. If no guest parking spots are open on the opposite side of where the work is being done, street parking is available in nearby residential areas.
The Association will have a tow truck on-hand each day to move any cars still in areas where work is being done.
Questions about this work should be directed to Select Community Management.
Exterior walls on two buildings were recently discovered in need of immediate brick repair/replacement. The board has voted to request that all buildings be inspected by the mason to determine if any further work is required. We will update the community on any findings in future monthly updates.
The board has voted to postpone the concrete repairs to the Birch Hollow driveway until a further evaluation of necessary brick/siding repairs can be made. If it becomes too late in the season to repair the concrete, it will be re-scheduled for the Spring of 2016.
As reported back in the June 2015 update, several areas of landscaping needed to be addressed this Summer. Several dead bushes have been removed, and a dead tree that had the potential to cause building damage has also been removed. Tree trimming continues throughout the community, especially is areas with the potential for building damage. Also, some areas of land have been regraded to allow for better water run-off away from buildings.
Thanks for visiting!
