The board is finalizing the bids for working on the entire community's balconies. In past, some fixes and patchwork has been done, and we are now looking at the at the community as a whole. Balconies across the whole community, generally in order of worst to best will have work done to ensure there continued maintenance and safety. As always, if you have concerns over a specific balcony, please let the board know. Pictures are very helpful in these cases. We hope to have everything finalized by the end of the month so contractors can start working.
This work will cause disruptions to the use of balconies as they undergo the work. The board will work with the contractor to ensure notice is given to affected owners.
Several of the wooden retaining walls, especially the ones located near the entrance are in need of replacement. The board has approved a bid to replace 3 of them with block masonry, and we expect work to begin on them soon.
